So you want to go to Universal Orlando but you don’t want to break the bank…. look no further than Cabana Bay Beach Resort; it’s affordable and fun! This retro-style resort is a party of the senses, vibrant colors, beautiful pools, a plethora of activities plus Family Suites that are affordable, fun and nicely appointed. Cabana Bay is in a convenient location, right next to Universal’s new water Park, Volcano Bay. To get to Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure you can walk (about 15 – 20 minutes) or there is a shuttle; you can walk to CityWalk as well.
Cabana Bay offers standard rooms that sleep up to 4 persons with 2 queen beds (plus an infant), or Family Suites that accommodate up to 6 guests (plus an infant). The family suites have 2 queen beds, and a separate living area with a pull out sleeper sofa; plus a kitchenette.
The living space has a sleeper sofa, a chair, coffee table and a flat screen TV over a chest of drawers.
The Kitchenette has a small refrigerator, sink, coffee maker and a microwave. The little table/counter can also double as a desk.
Most of the Family Suites have a split bathroom with a tub/shower or just a large shower and a sink on one side and the toilet and sink on the other side; making it easier for families to get ready for the day! The accessible family suites have one large bathroom to accommodate a wheelchair. The views can be pretty nice as well!
The grounds of Cabana Bay are very pretty as well, there are 2 large pools, the Courtyard Pool has a giant water slide, the second pool has a lazy river, fun!
In addition to great pools , there are poolside games throughout the day; plus many other activities including ping pong, volleyball nets, even pool tables! When the day is done, you can come back to Cabana Bay, sit around a bonfire and make s’mores’! This is a great way to have affordable and fun quality time laughing the night away with your family and friends!
