At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village, you can wake up and come home to various Savanna animals right outside your door.  Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village is a Deluxe Villa Resort in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.  With 30 different wildlife species to encounter and spacious villa accommodations, memories are begging to be made.

Guests staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village have the privilege of certain benefits.  The following is only a sampling of the perks for staying at an on-site Walt Disney World Resort.

Resort-Wide Bus Transportation

From the resort, complimentary buses are available to to shuttle you from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village to the theme parks and Disney Springs.

 

Online Check-In

Guests can come home straight to their room by using the online check-in feature from the MyDisney Experience app.  There’s no need to check in at the front desk.  At some point, guests should still venture through the lobby just to see the decor and the amazing view.

 

Childcare Services

Take your special someone for an evening out at Disney Springs!   Childcare is available through Kids Nite Out, an independent childcare provider.  In the comfort of your resort room, children 6 months to 12 years of age can enjoy games, books, and arts and crafts activities with  professional caregivers.  For charges and other information, contact your Magic For Less travel agent.

Laundry and Dry Cleaning

If you stay in a villa with one or more bedrooms, you have in-room access to washers and dryers.  Deluxe Studio guests can use the 24-hour self service laundry room in building 1 of the Timon area just off the lobby.  While your laundry washes and dries, you can visit the Community Hall and Safari So Good Arcade just across the hall.

Wake up and Come Home to the Savanna!!!

Come home to a Savanna View room and encounter its animals from your own private balcony.  Wake up to zebras, giraffes, and cranes!  Oh my!

If you stay in a standard view room, you can still visit the Savanna from the Lobby.  From the Lobby and near the pool area, there’s even a fenced walkway out into the Savanna, called Savanna Overlooks.  Near the lobby, the resort also provides look-out balconies complete with rocking chairs so all guests can relax and take in the sights of the Savanna.  View a map of the resort here.

Community Hall and Arcade

In building 1 of the Timon section of Kidani Village, you and your family can visit the Community Hall for foosball, pool table, low cost craft activities, and/or just to hang out with your family.  The Safari So Good Arcade is just across the hallway from the Community Hall.

 

Dining:  Sanaa and Sanaa Lounge

Wake up and come home to the Savanna for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Sanaa.  View the Sunset Savanna with its 30 wildlife species while savoring cuisine from East Africa and India.  Pickier eaters will also find something to appease their appetite.   From lunchtime to nighttime, African wines, specialty drinks and cocktails, and appetizers are available at Sanaa Lounge.

Fitness

Keep up with your home fitness routine by visiting the pool, fitness center, or basketball and tennis courts.  Lockers can be rented outside of the fitness center for a small fee.

 

Come home to Samawati Springs Pool to unwind and relax.  Kids and adults alike can enjoy the available water slides.  Uwanja Camp is a splash pad where kids big and small can revel in the fun with spraying snakes, waterfalls, and spilling buckets of water.  Two spa pools are also nearby.  Drinks and snacks are available at the Maji Pool Bar.

Deluxe Studio

Guests can stay in a Savanna or Standard View Deluxe Studio room.  Each Deluxe Studio will sleep 4 adults with 1 queen bed and 1 double-size sleeper sofa.  Deluxe Studios are equipped with a mini refrigerator, microwave, and small kitchenette.  The Deluxe Studio comes with one bathroom.  Click the image below for a tour.

Villas

Each of the Villas listed below comes with a full size refrigerator, microwave, and fully equipped kitchen.  Besides other amenities, guests will also have in-room access to a washer and dryer for doing laundry, a DVD player, and a whirlpool tub.

3 Bedroom Grand Villa

The 3 Bedroom Grand Villa sleeps up to 12 adults and is only available with a Savanna View.  It comes with 1 king bed, 4 queen beds, and 1 queen-size sleeper sofa.  It has a master bedroom, two other bedrooms, and a living area with kitchen.

2 Bedroom Villa (Savanna or Standard View)

Up to 9 adults can sleep in a 2 Bedroom Villa.  The two bedroom villa comes with a master bedroom, a living area with kitchen, and a second bedroom.  It comes with 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 1 queen-size sleeper sofa, and 1 twin-size sleeper chair.  It also has a total of 3 full bathrooms.

1 Bedroom Villa (Savanna or Standard View)

The 1 Bedroom Villa sleeps up to 5 adults.  The one bedroom is the master bedroom, but the whole villa comes with 1 king bed, 1 queen-size sleeper sofa, and 1 twin-size sleeper chair.  It has 2 full bathrooms, one being the master bathroom.
