Many guests ask if they need to be familiar with the movie to enjoy this new land. The answer is a big, “no.” Even guests who have little or no knowledge of the Avatar movie can happily experience, explore and enjoy this awesome new land.
FastPass+
Pandora has two attractions and they are very popular. Flight of Passage is a thrilling 3D adventure that allows guests to fly on the back of a banshee. The Na’vi River Journey is a family friendly river journey through a bioluminescent rain forest. Make FP+ arrangements in advance.The FP+ is tiered so that you can’t choose a FP+ for both Pandora attractions in the same day so you may want to schedule two days in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. There are many benefits to staying at an onsite Walt Disney World Resort. Onsite guests can make FP+ arrangements before off-site guests and can make them 60 days in advance.
Visit Pandora during the day and at night
Pandora is beautiful and there is so much to see. Guests will want to experience this land during the day and also at night. The land comes alive at night as the bioluminescent flora and fauna glows. It is truly spectacular!
“Extra” Extra Magic Hours
Now through July 4, 2017, Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests can experience Extra Magic Hours every night from 11:00 PM until 1:00 AM! This is a great time to experience lower wait times and reduced crowds as you visit this new land. Take advantage of this great benefit available only to on-site hotel guests.

Wilderness Explorers
Guests can participate in Wilderness Explorer activities in Pandora. Wilderness Explorers can complete different challenges and earn badge stickers for their complimentary handbook. These hands-on activities are all located in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. There are 2 locations where you can earn Wilderness Explorer badges. These are great activities for children but adults may enjoy them as well.
ACE Cast Members
The Cast Members in Pandora are members of the Alpha Centauri Expeditions (ACE). They are knowledgeable and passionate about sharing their knowledge of Pandora with guests. Make sure that you take the opportunity to interact and ask questions to learn more about Pandora – the World or Avatar.
Satu’li Canteen
Satu’li Canteen is a great quick service location located in Pandora. If you are using a Disney Dining Plan, this is a great use of your quick service credits. The food is fresh & good and the blue cheesecake is great! This is also the first location that allows pre-ordering via the My Disney Experience app.
PhotoPass
Look for PhotoPass photographers located throughout the land. They will help you capture your visit to Pandora. The photographers may even add some magic to your photos.
Unique Merchandise
There is some unique merchandise in the Pandora area. You can take home a banshee, Na’vi jewelry, and even some unique bioluminescent items. Some of these items are only available in this land so make sure you make your purchases before your leave the area.
