If romance is your ‘thing’, or simply a relaxing adult vacation (or perhaps you have children and they are off having the time of their lives at the Kids Club), then the Disney Fantasy is for you! I’ve posted previous blogs about the Quiet Cove Pool (pool for ages 18 + up) and Europa (adult district of bars and lounges); but there is still more exclusively for adults!
Satellite Falls, located deck 13 forward, is a sanctuary for adults; featuring a round splash pool with a ‘rain curtain’ in the middle. There are benches all around the pool, so you can relax, or enjoy a conversation with your fellow travelers or new friends you met on-board.
I particularly enjoyed Satellite Falls on the last afternoon of my Cruise; I found it to be the ultimate in relaxation. It was late in the day; after we departed Castaway Cay, and I imagine most passengers were getting ready for dinner; so there was only a couple of other people there; it was sheer bliss. Satellite Falls has plush lounge chairs all around providing a relaxing area, with a spectacular panoramic view.
Also on deck 13, also forward, but before Satellite Falls is Currents bar. Although very near to Satellite Falls; Currents faces mid-ship, so that the noise from those mingling and indulging in adult beverages does not affect those relaxing at Satellite Falls. Now, don’t get me wrong, although Satellite Falls exudes a relaxing energy; I am sure that there are times when adults are creating a ruckus there; after all, we all know adults can be as, or more rambunctious than children sometimes!

Without exaggeration, I will say that when I walked up the stairs from the Quiet Cove pool to Currents bar, I had to catch my breath (and not from the stairs, from the extreme beauty of the setting! Currents is all open air (nothing above you but a big blue sky), allowing you to have the most breathtaking panoramic views.
The bar offers a menu of tropical libations, mixed drinks, beer, wine, coffee, bottled water, soda and juice. Order a drink, and just sit at the bar in amazement; just remember to pick your jaw up off the deck before you leave! (The view is jaw-dropping spectacular!!!) Or take a seat at one of the comfy table and chairs nearby and just bask in the gloriousness that is the Disney Fantasy!
