Let’s play trivia on Disney Cruise Line

Trivia prizes 1If you know me, you will know that one of my favorite things to do is to play trivia.  This is not because I am a trivia wizard by any means, and my losses far outnumber my wins, but I love to play and so it’s only natural for me to be drawn to the frequent trivia offerings on a Disney cruise.    It’s more a feeling of having fun, mixing with other passengers, and getting to know the cruise staff, to say nothing of establishing a relationship with a server.    If your server is paying attention and you drink the same thing, they will have one waiting for you when you walk in the door after just a quick nod.

It’s a fun activity that we enjoy with our teenagers and young adults as well as friends, both those we are traveling with or the new friends we make in the lounge.    Traveling solo?   I bet there is a team that will let you join them, it’s a great way to make friends.    I made a new friend that we nicknamed as Jim “Ringer” after he started helping us out with answers one day on a 2 week transatlantic cruise, so we of course pulled him into our team and he became a regular.    I am still friends  and in touch with him 4 years later.   My team on that cruise was actually made up of my dinner table mates, 2 of whom I was traveling with, the other’s we just met on the cruise.
