Incredible(s) Themed Rooms at the Contemporary Resort

On a recent trip to Disney World, I was able to enjoy one of the new Incredible(s) themed rooms at the Contemporary Resort.   I was also very excited to stay in a theme park view room.  There is nothing like coming “home” to Cinderella’s Castle out your window.  Unless it’s spending time in your room with the cast from Pixar’s “Incredibles” and “Incredibles 2“.  I loved this new look and feel!  One note, right now you can only enjoy Incredible(s) themed rooms when you stay in the tower rooms while the garden wing finishes its refurb.

Incredible(s) Themed Rooms

The room was filled with the mid-century vibe that you expect from the movies along with lots of extra character touches.  Take a full Video Tour Here.

Bedding and Drapes

The room was filled with characters.  There were pillows with Frozone or Edna on them.  The drapes even had the characters on them along with background scenes from the movies.

Flooring

The carpet is long gone and was replaced with light colored contemporary floors.  Underneath the beds were rugs in the colors of the movies–orange/red, black and grey.  These rugs had a contemporary design that would be welcome in any hotel room.

Storage

I loved seeing the Incredible super suits “hanging” up in the closet.  Also I loved the extra character touches in the nightstand drawer.

Walls

The walls were covered in eye mask designs, perfect for any super.  Also be sure to enjoy the various art work hanging throughout the room.  You can also found great art work in many of the hallways of the hotel.

Bathroom

The one place in the room were you won’t see much in the way of characters, is in the very modern bathroom.  If you were wanting to go to a spa bathroom, then this is the place for you.   The bathroom is filled with a large modern shower including rain shower head, removable shower head, gorgeous tile and an insert for the famous Disney toiletries.  A double vanity with lots of counter space is positioned right next to the shower.  There are even double pocket doors to the toilet closet that are magnetic and meet in the middle when you open 1 side of the pocket door.  Very cool!  Oh and don’t forget the barn door that slides across the bathroom entrance as well as multiple hooks to hold towels and clothes.Bathroom

Other Things to Note

This room also included a balcony, beverage cooler, Keurig machine, 2 queen beds and a day bed.  By the way – just pull on the strap really hard to convert from day bed to regular twin bed–cushions don’t come off.  The room also had multiple USB ports, a pull out ottoman, a safe, hair dryer and even a steamer in the closet–very handy when you are unpacking all of those wrinkled clothes.  Everything you could want to have a comfortable stay!

I really enjoyed my stay in this amazing room and at this amazing resort.  If you get a chance to stay in one of the tower rooms, be sure to take lots of pictures!  To find out how you can book one of these “Incredible” rooms,  click here.

  1. I love the themed rooms at WDW! They are so immersive and give every vacation that extra Disney magic. Do you know if the redesigned rooms at Caribbean Beach will be a separate category? We would really love to experience the Little Mermaid details, but I don’t think we want to risk booking a standard room unless we know it will be one of the updated ones! It seems like the perfect blend of themed décor and relaxing details. Although, if we wanted to go all out for the Little Mermaid we would definitely choose Art of Animation! ? -Lindsey

  2. These are some of my favorite themed rooms, although I do enjoy those Little Mermaid rooms at Art of Animation as well. As far as Caribbean Beach, they aren’t a separate category but they are all standard or standard 5th rooms. You can request the theme but Disney doesn’t guarantee your request! I totally understand your hesitation and it might be worth it to check out those Little Mermaid rooms at Art of Animation! Enjoy!
