Finding Hidden Pascals!!

Most Disney fans have heard of “Hidden Mickeys”, but have you ever heard of “Hidden Pascals”?  In the Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland, there is a beautiful area that is themed after the animated movie Tangled.  It is elaborately decorated to look like you stepped right into the movie.  From lanterns to frying pans to Flynn Rider’s satchel, it feels like you are visiting the Village of Corona!

Surrounded by a stream, waterfall and Rapunzel’s tower are “Hidden Pascals”.   There are 10 friends of Pascal in the scenery, hidden among all the flowers and greenery.   Since he is a chameleon, he does a really great job blending in with his surroundings.  Most of his friends can be found around the seating area, but a few are a bit further away.  Remember to look high and low; these little chameleons are good climbers!   It’s a fun little break to take while touring the park.

While you’re there, you can also charge your phone batteries.  There are many charging stations hidden in the stumps in the seating area.  As long as you bring your charging cord you are good to go!  There are plugs as well as USB outlets scattered around.

There are also beautifully themed large bathrooms with murals painted on the ceilings and walls!  There is usually never a wait here and the stalls are roomy!!

Don’t forget to take a few pictures!  There are some great photo ops in this area too- Rapunzel’s tower, a waterfall, a stream and those beautiful lanterns.

It’s also a great place to watch Wishes Fireworks Spectacular.  Although the castle is not in the background, it’s a nice place with a different view.  There are barrel tables and chairs as well as a stone wall to sit on and enjoy the show with fewer crowds.

The only thing that’s missing is Rapunzel herself.  She can be found meeting guest at Fairytale Hall, also in Fantasyland.

For an area that doesn’t have an attraction, there is a lot to do in this small place between It’s a Small World and The Haunted Mansion.

  1. I was just there, and I didn’t know about the Pascals! Thank you! I’m looking for them next time. I wish they had Rapunzel’s hair coming out of the tower every once in a while. That would be so cool!
