Fantasia Gardens
As a frequent Walt Disney World traveler, I always make it a point to find something new to do on each vacation. With four theme parks, two water parks, a shopping/entertainment district, more than twenty different resorts, and hundreds of restaurants there is always something new to experience. This is why no two trips to Walt Disney World are ever the same!
So on my last vacation, I decided that my “something new” would be a round of mini-golf at one of Disney’s two great locations, Fantasia Gardens. This course is located at Disney’s Swan & Dolphin hotels and is an easy walk from the bus stops at those resorts.
When you enter here you’ll find two different courses to choose from. We choose the more traditional Garden Course while there is also a Fairways Course that looks more like a traditional golf course green.
This one looks like it would be great for those golfers trying to improve their short game.
If the course is busy they’ll take your name and call you when you can tee-off. We arrived in the afternoon and waited about ten minutes. Every hole on this beautiful course is full of Disney magic making it a delight for child and adult alike.
This is an eighteen-hole course and each hole is a par 3. I found most to be quite difficult but enjoyed the challenge. Each hole is introduced by a songbook and has it’s own unique flair.
At the end of your round be sure to let the Cast Members know how you did. There is a leaderboard that changes daily and one of my family was honored to have his name on the board if even for a short while.
The price for a round of golf is $14 for adults and $12 for children 3 to 9. If you book a Disney Magic Your Way Resort package you will receive four rounds for free as long as you arrive by 4 pm.
