Galaxy’s Edge is set on the outer rim planet of Batuu in the village of Black Spire Outpost. It was once a traveler stop but now it has turned into a spot for smugglers and rogues. Lay of the Land
Take a few minutes to look over the map for an understanding of how Hollywood Studios and Galaxy’s Edge is laid out. There are two entrances to Galaxy’s Edge – one off of Grand Avenue and the other from Toy Story Land. If it is your first time visiting Galaxy’s Edge I recommend entering through the Grand Avenue entrance. This will give you a gradual entrance to the land to take in all things Star Wars!
Entering from Grand Avenue will take you through a tunnel and as you emerge you will realize that you’ve been transported to Batuu by the sites and sounds of the forest. You may even hear a TIE fighter or X-Wing fly overhead!
In this Resistance area the Rise of the Resistance attraction will be on your left. As you keep walking you’ll have the opportunity to get a photo with a Speeder or X-Wing. Don’t miss the small Resistance kiosk shopping area near the X-Wing.
As you get deeper into Black Spire Outpost you’ll approach the Market Area with quick service dining. At the intersection near Savi’s Workshop turning left up the stairs or going straight towards Droid Depot will take you to the First Order Area. This are has the Millennium Falcon, Savi’s Workshop for Lightsaber building and the blue and green milk stand!
Resistance characters such as Rey, Chewbacca or even the spy Vi can be found near Droid Depot above the speeder garage. If the First Order is where your loyalty lies then head to the TIE Fighter platform near the milk stand to see Kylo Ren and Stormtroopers.

Rise of the Resistance is one of the most sought after attractions utilizing a virtual queue. You are tasked by Rey to meet with General Organa at a secret base to assist the Resistance and ultimately you are placed in the middle of a battle between the Resistance and First Order!
