Pixar Place Hotel design is very bright and whimsical. There are nods to characters from all of the Disney Pixar films and shorts throughout the hotel from the moment you walk though the door. Upon entering the lobby there is a giant Luxo Jr. Lamp front and center. It is amazing and a great photo opportunity to start your stay at the hotel.
Looking up into the atrium you will see some beautiful brightly colored mobile displays that represent so many of the Pixar characters we know and love. Each floor has a different Pixar film theme on it. Additionally, each floor has a different color scheme in the lobby. This attention to detail can be found in every corner of the hotel.

Disney’s Pixar Place Hotel Offers Easy Access To Disneyland Theme Parks and Downtown Disney
The hotel is one of three onsite hotels at Disneyland Resort. One perk to staying on property is having easy access to the theme parks and to Downtown Disney, plus early entry each day to either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park.
For getting to the theme parks, there is a walkway next to the hotel that guests can take to get to Downtown Disney and both of the theme parks. The walk is about 7 minutes from start to finish.
Also, an exclusive entrance for is available for Pixar Place Hotel guests to enter directly into Disney’s California Adventure theme park via a separate walkway. Hotel guests have a dedicated entrance in Pixar Pier between Seaside Souvenirs and Corn Dog Castle.
Amazing Pool Area and Pixar Shorts Court Area
Disney’s Pixar Place Hotel boasts an all-new Pixel Pool which also includes a 186-foot-long Crush’s Surfin’ Slide, both inspired by the Finding Nemo film. Lounge chairs and cabanas are also available to soak up the sun in this amazing new space.
Younger kiddos can splash away at Nemo’s Cove splash pad while adults can spend time in the whirlpool nearby.
Also available is the Pixar Shorts court area. In this space kids and adults alike can enjoy a bean bag toss game inspired by Bao, a shuffleboard court and more.
What’s more, multiple fire pit areas are available poolside for some relaxation time. Each fire pit is themed to Pixar film characters who use the element of fire in their respective film.
To top off the day, Fireworks viewing is available on the pool deck with the music piped in.
