One thing we love the most about Disney Cruise Line is their ability to safely accommodate the food restrictions for our family. We have members of our traveling party with peanut, tree nut, egg, dairy, and fish allergies, collectively. Knowing that our family will have safe meals each day allows us to be relaxed and enjoy our vacation!
How do I notify Disney Cruise Line of our food allergies and dietary requirements?
- If you have booked your cruise vacation with one of our wonderful agents, give us a call! Let us know what allergies are present or what dietary accommodations you require. We call this information in directly to Disney Cruise Line and ensure that it is noted on your reservation.
- If you did not book your cruise vacation with one of us (there’s always next time!), you can call this information in to Disney Cruise Line or complete the Special Services form. This form is located on the Disney Cruise Line website. Note that it is also used for medical equipment, service animal information, mobility and hearing accommodations, and more.
- Alert Disney Cruise Line of your needs at least 60 days prior to sailing.
Main Dining Rooms
Did you know that Disney Cruise Line has Rotational Dining? Every evening of your sailing you will have the same servers at dinner. You will be greeted by a familiar face with knowledge of your food allergies, meal preferences, and any dietary restrictions you might have. Your servers will go through the menu with you and find a safe option for your dining experience. DCL encourages guests to pre-order your meal for the following night. You can view the menus on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and make a dinner selection that will be prepared ahead of time. This will reduce your wait time and make your meal as smooth as possible.
Buffets and Quick Service Options
On those occasions where you are not dining in the Main Dining rooms you will likely be visiting the Buffet and Quick Service options onboard. Request to speak with a Cast Member regarding your allergies and they will make your meal to order. Be aware that this process does take some time. Find a comfortable seat with a view to enjoy while you wait!

- Only those with food allergies and dietary restrictions are able to order french fries at Castaway Cay. You CAN preorder your meal here as well!
- Make sure to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for suggestions of allergy-friendly meals. If you cannot find something satisfactory, the staff will work with you to find an option to keep everyone happy (and full!).
- If you plan to leave the ship for a Port Adventure, we suggest bringing some “safe” snacks from home.
