Review: The Wilderness Lodge exemplifies some of the best in Disney resort theming. The lobby is nothing short of spectacular, and the whole resort transports you to the National Lodges of another time. The Magic Kingdom is just a boat ride away and you can also reach Disney’s Contemporary and Ft. Wilderness Resorts by boat transportation. Check out the geyser, the beach and even fishing excursions at the Wilderness Lodge. The resort’s waterfall is lit at night and can be very romantic. Make sure you experience the expertly prepared food at Artist Point, the signature restaurant at this resort. The buffalo and salmon are fantastic. Guests will also enjoy the crazy antics and all you can eat skillets at the Whispering Canyon Café, and the convenience and freshly prepared foods at the resort’s counter service restaurant, Roaring Forks.
