New Attractions
We are so excited about the news of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opening officially on June 28th! There will be preview dates as early as June 9th. This newly redone attraction will take you an a musical adventure, taking place after the ending of the beloved movie, The Princess and the Frog. With new faces, new music, and new theming, we know you’re going to simply love this new take with the 50-foot drop!
If you haven’t visited since last year, Tron Lightcycle / Run opened in April of 2023 and is a high-speed adventure at Magic Kingdom. Also added in recent years are Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at Epcot. Both are guest favorites!
We Think Lower Crowds Means Best Time to Visit Walt Disney World
When many of you ask about the best time to visit, you want to know when it’s not crowded. Well, summer is no longer a busy time to visit so this is your chance! Summer months have become some of the lower attended times to go. We know, it’s hot. It’s hot at home too. At least in the heat at Walt Disney World, we can head to the pool, and air-conditioned attraction or restaurant, or head to one of the water parks!
Extended Park Hours
Ironically, even though crowds are lower, since the days are longer in the summer, the park hours are extended at the parks! That’s more time for you to play! Longer park days also give you the freedom to take an afternoon break and head back to your resort to enjoy the pool. You may enjoy a later morning some days too since you can get more done later in the evening.
More Pool Time
We’ve mentioned the pool time. Walt Disney World resort hotels offer some of the best pools and summer is a great time to enjoy them. Relax poolside, or get in to cool off. Your moderate and deluxe resorts have themed pools with waterslides which are always so fun!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties
You know how some people say Christmas is a 3-month season? Disney feels this way about Halloween! The Magic Kingdom celebrates its first Halloween party, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on Friday, August 9th this year!

Shortly after Mickey’s Not-So-Scary kicks off, Epcot will open it’s Food and Wine Festival for its 29th year!
