Virgin Voyages made waves in the cruise industry. I was not sure what to expect on my recent cruise and I purposely did minimal research going into the cruise. I knew that Virgin Voyages is an adult only cruise line, has many inclusions, and that I would have a fantastic time! The cruise has an efficient boarding process on an amazing ship. Staterooms have a tablet to control the TV, lights and curtains! Below are 5 Reasons I Loved Virgin Voyages!

There was incredible value and I loved that Virgin Voyages included so much in the base fare.

Before we set sail I didn’t realize how much I would enjoy having all of this included! It is so nice to purchase a drink and scan your band to complete the purchase without having to add a tip or receive a large bill upon disembarkation!
The service doesn’t suffer either, all crew is top notch and work hard to make sure you have an excellent experience! The WiFi works well and you can easily stay connected with friends and family onshore! Group workouts include a variety of classes for all levels.
Adult Experience
As a parent of teenagers, this cruise was a much needed break from our usual family vacations! The ship is not wild and crazy like a college spring break party, but rather elegant and defined in what it wanted to be. It is an adult experience at top level.
Dining
The restaurants on Scarlet Lady are fantastic and all of them are included at no additional charge! This was definitely a top reasons that I loved about Virgin Voyages. Eat steak at The Wake which overlooks the aft of the ship, Italian at Extra Virgin, and play a drinking game with your table mates at Gunbae which serves Korean Barbecue. Looking for something different? Then don’t miss the Test Kitchen which is a food chemistry experiment! The Galley is open 24 hours a day serving quicker meals where the tables are manned by servers. With more than enough places to eat, you may struggle to eat at all of them during your voyage!
Bimini
The Beach Club at Bimini is a relaxing oasis on the beach. You exit the ship, take a short tram ride through a private community and you arrive at The Beach Club which has pools, restaurants, bars (with wicker chairs that hang over the pool!), a beach with plenty of seating and watersports! Don’t miss the bonfire on the beach because the ship often doesn’t leave the port until late at night!
The Wearable Band
If you are familiar with Walt Disney World then you will understand Virgin Voyage’s wearable, “The Band.” You only need this band to access your stateroom, make purchases, and used to embark and disembark the ship! These bands work flawlessly and I loved not having to carry a key card as I usually do not have pockets or carry a bag when just spending time on the ship.
