Disney is open – but what’s open at the Walt Disney World resort hotels? The Magic for Less shared important updates that will be resort wide and impact all guests, but we’re going to get a little more specific with what will be open at each Disney resort hotel.
What Resorts Will Be Open?

Pool Refurbishment
The Big Blue Pool will be closed for refurbishment from January 11, 2021 through early April 2021. While this work takes place, other exhilarating pool and recreation offerings will remain open for your enjoyment—including Flippin’ Fins Pool, Cozy Cone Pool and the Schoolyard Sprayground.
During this time, it is possible that Guests may see or hear construction, but noise should not be heard from Guest rooms between dusk and 9:00 AM.

Resort Refurbishment
Luna Park Pool at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort may look a little funny as work takes place on the Keister Coaster waterslide. We expect the waterslide to be available again before the end of 2020—though dates are subject to change. Work in the pool area will continue through the end of this year. Luna Park Pool, as well as 2 leisure pools at this Resort hotel, will remain open during this refurbishment.
