1. Participate in the Sail Away Party!
Once you board The Disney Wish on your embarkation day, you’ll get to explore the ship while you wait for your stateroom to be ready. After the Safety Drill at your Muster Station, be sure to head up on deck to attend The Sail Away Party. Join Mickey and Minnie and all their friends in front of the Funnel Vision. Your Cruise Director will lead the countdown as the ship sets sail, complete with the infamous horn blast from Disney Cruise Line! It’s so much fun to dance along with all of the guests that you’ll be sailing with for the length of your cruise! You might even get to see some Disney Princesses dance along with you!
2. Order More Than One Entrée at Dinner!
One of the best things about Disney Cruise Line is that all of the restaurants are all you can eat! Want two appetizers? Go for it! Three entrees? We don’t judge here! It’s a great way to share the delicious food on Disney Cruise Line with your family. Be adventurous and try new types of food. From the Golden Mystic Pasta in World of Marvel, to Elsa’s Royal Baked Scallops in Arendelle, there’s something new and exciting to try for everyone in your party! Don’t forget about 24 hour room service! Want a Mickey Bar at midnight? Why not?
3. Experience a Show!
Don’t pass up the fantastic shows onboard the Disney Cruise Line ships! If you have main dining, you will see the show after dinner, and if you have late dining, you’ll see the show first. On board the Disney Wish, you’ll get to see “Seas the Adventure”, “Aladdin”, and “The Little Mermaid.” Enjoy some of your favorite Disney songs and see your favorite Disney characters from the comfort of the Walt Disney Theater! These shows really capture the Disney magic and give you that warm and fuzzy feeling that Disney is known for! The entertainment staff is amazing and they are so talented! It’s a definite must-do while on board! You won’t regret it!
4. See a movie on Tunnel Vision!
Seeing a movie on the Tunnel Vision up on deck is really a unique experience! Check your app to see what movies are playing throughout the day. In my opinion, the best time to watch a Disney movie is in the evening! Grab a snack from Mickey & Friends Festival of foods, a sweatshirt, and a deck chair and you’re all set! Sit back and relax while you take in the sea air and one of your favorite Disney films in the middle of the ocean!
5. Visit Serenity Bay at Disney’s Castaway Cay!
Visiting Disney’s Castaway Cay is breathtaking and is an exclusive private island for Disney Cruise Line guests. Families can enjoy the Castaway Family Beach for guests of all ages. However, if you really want an experience like no other, be sure to check out Serenity Bay–Disney’s adults only beach at Castaway Cay. It’s an oasis just for adults. Enjoy a Conch Cooler along the serene waters of Serenity Bay, even if just for 20 minutes! You’ll never want to leave!
