Meet Kathryn Fenwick – The Magic For Less

Hello, I’m Kathryn Fenwick, but go by Kat! I live in Boise, Idaho with my husband. Our two boys are all grown up and both live in Virginia. I am a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 2011 and then continued my service as a federal government employee. After almost 31 years with the government, I retired in May 2024 and began a new adventure as a travel advisor with The Magic for Less!

I have been a passionate Disney fan for many years, with my first visit to Walt Disney World in 1975, at the age of 8! I rode Space Mountain when it had barely been open a few months! With my family we began annual visits to the parks over 20 years ago. Even becoming a Disney Vacation Club member in 2003.

I do love Disney Cruises, being a Gold Castaway Cay Club member with Disney Cruise Line and I have sailed on 4 Disney Cruise Line ships to destinations in the Bahamas, Caribbean, Alaska, and throughout Europe. In fact, my husband and I went on the new Disney Wish in February 2024, our first cruise without the boys, and it was still wonderful! Though my son got married last September, so maybe I can bring a grandchild on a future Disney cruise! Isn’t that what all grandparent’s do?

I’ve been fortunate to see Hong Kong Disney, Tokyo Disneyland/Disney Sea, and Disneyland Paris! Maybe I’ll make it to Shanghai Disney one day.
I also love all the Universal Studio resorts, and actually have visited both the Hollywood and Orlando parks dozens of times. It really is where movie magic happens!

As you can see, I have vast travel experience with worldwide Disney and Universal Studio resorts. This knowledge has spanned over two decades, so I completely understand the challenges of trying to make a memorable vacation for your family.
