Meet Melissa Griffith – The Magic For Less

I have loved Disney for as long as I can remember. I grew up in California and went to Disneyland once as a child but my passion for Disney Destinations didn’t start until I took my oldest to Walt Disney World in 2005. I was a single mom, and it was a place where we could escape the real world. I could focus on being her mom and having fun, that time we had to connect was something I will never forget. We went once or twice a year every year for six years, and even became a DVC member. I met my husband at Walt Disney World before we went on a Disney Cruise, got engaged and married at Walt Disney World. It’s a place filled with so many magical memories for our family and it brings me great joy to help other families create their own memories traveling. We now live in Walt Disney World’s backyard with our two little girls, who have been to Disney parks as young as a few weeks old – so I am experienced in traveling and enjoying theme parks with little ones. We watch fireworks from our backyard every night and love creating more memories with our kids where our love story started.

Walt Disney World is my home park, but Disneyland is my happy place. I am also a Harry Potter fan, so I really enjoy visiting my favorite places from the books at Universal Orlando Resort. However, cruising became my favorite way to vacation after my first sailing in 2011 on the Disney Dream. The ocean air brings me so much peace and really heals all. Living in Central Florida has really helped feed my cruise obsession and allows me to keep up with all the local theme park happenings. I am a Castaway Cay Club Gold Member with Disney Cruise Line, have sailed on Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and can’t wait to experience some others!

There are so many travel options out there, I am passionate about finding the trip that is perfect for you! I have completed numerous destination certifications and would love to help you and your family make your own memories whether it’s a vacation on the water, all-inclusive resort, Disney vacation an adventure across the pond or wherever your heart leads you to travel! Life is too short, and the world is wide – get out there and see it!

In my spare time I enjoy adventures with my husband and children, reading, relaxing in the shade near any body of water, and dreaming of my bucket list trip to Ireland & Scotland.
