Meet Jessica LaMar – The Magic For Less

Hiya, pals! I’m Jessica, but you can call me Jess. I live in Evansville, IN with my husband, daughter, and 2 dogs! For the past 6 years, my non-magical career has revolved around Marketing and Graphic Design but my passion has always been planning our next magical getaway, bringing me to The Magic for Less Travel!

I honestly don’t remember going to Walt Disney World very much as a child – maybe once! My love for it didn’t blossom until my later years in high school, but it’s been blooming ever since. Throughout my adult years, I’ve made a point to visit the parks at least once (usually more!) a year. My mom and I have taken a girl’s trip every year to Walt Disney World for the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival for the past 7 years! I’ve loved experiencing and exploring the parks with her, but seeing it through my daughter’s eyes has given me a whole new appreciation. My daughter’s first visit was at 7 months old, and although she wasn’t old enough to appreciate it then, she loves it now!

Our travels have also taken me to Universal Orlando countless times, where the magic is just as alive! My husband and I are huge Harry Potter fans, so getting to explore the Wizarding World has been some of our favorite vacations. We are no strangers to cruises, although I’d love to sail to more destinations, we’ve visited the Bahamas and Mexico several times and love the ease of cruising!

My love for travel extends beyond my own experiences. I love to hear the stories of other’s journeys just a much as I love to help them plan and prepare! Things change so quickly these days, staying up-to-date on all the latest travel tips and news can seem overwhelming for a traveler. Vacations are meant to be relaxing and care-free! It’s my responsibility to ensure that my guests can do just that – relax and enjoy.
