Itinerary

Day One: Boston

Arrive in Boston, Massachusetts
Welcome to Beantown! Upon arrival at the Boston Logan International Airport, an Adventures by Disney representative meets you and escorts you to your transfer vehicle. Relax as the driver assists with your luggage and brings you to your hotel.

Millennium Bostonian Hotel
Rest from your travels as your Adventure Guides checks you into this lovely hotel that sits in the heart of this historic city.

Welcome Reception
Meet your fellow adventurers at a private hotel reception where your Adventure Guides host a brief orientation to your trip.

Welcome Dinner at Durgin Park
Step into this 1827 Boston landmark for a family feast! “Established before you were born” is their motto and they serve as much fun as tasty fare. Get to know your fellow travelers better as you enjoy a hearty New England meal in a private room. The character Paul Revere joins you to bring to life the lore of Boston.

Day Two: Boston

Breakfast and Duck Boat Tour
After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, a duck boat picks you up for an exclusive land and water tour! What's a duck boat, you ask? It's a World War II-style amphibious landing vehicle that travels as smoothly on Fleet Street as it does over the river deep. Splash past the city sights as you hear stories about the town from your local expert.

Paul Revere House Tour
Relive that revolutionary night when you visit the home from whence this humble silversmith rode to call his countrymen to arms. Step through the historic rooms of this national treasure—a fully restored house museum.

Walk the Freedom Trail to Old North Church
Listen to tales about brave Bostonians and courageous colonials as a local expert leads you down the Freedom Trail for a glimpse of the nation's birth. The tour stops at the Old North Church, where the two lanterns gave the signal that started Paul Revere's ride. Then play revolutionary period games with your Adventure Guides at the Paul Revere Mall.

Lunch at Piccola Venezia
Refresh yourself after your revolutionary activities with a delightful lunch at the tables of a warm Italian restaurant. Devour pasta or other authentic Italian specialty in Boston's Old North End as you swap tales from the Trail.

More Freedom Trail and Time to Yourself
Finish your walk on the Freedom Trail and explore the exhibits in the Old State House in Boston Common, America's oldest public park, then enjoy the afternoon as you wish exploring the city sights.

Dining On Your Own in Boston
Famous for its chowders and fresh seafood, “Beantown” offers everything from upscale, intimate dining to a number of family-friendly options. Feel free to ask your Adventure Guides for dinner recommendations.

Day Three: Newport

Fenway Park Tour
Start the day with a hearty breakfast buffet before you board the motor coach to Newport, Rhode Island. Along the way, stop for a privately guided tour of Fenway Park, home to the Boston Red Sox. Take a good look at “the Green Monster,” the fabled left field fence that pitchers fear and hitters adore.

Picnic-style Lunch in Newport
Lounge at the waterfront of the Hyatt Regency in the town renowned as the playground of the rich and famous. Savor a leisurely picnic-style lunch outdoors as your Adventure Guides check you into the hotel. Afterwards, play relaxing lawn games on the grounds as the sea breeze brushes the coast.

Sailing Aboard The Madeleine
Cruise across the glassy blue waters of Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay with Victorian style on this exclusive tour aboard The Madeleine, a 72-foot schooner.

Dinner On Your Own in Newport
Choose from an array of fine and casual restaurants in this long-time culinary destination! Seafood is a favorite for its freshness but there's something for everyone. Ask your Adventure Guides to recommend a place for your meal.

Day Four: Newport

The Cliff Walk and Astor Beechwood Mansion
After a buffet breakfast at the Hyatt, opt to embark on The Cliff Walk, a privately guided exploration of the cliffs that hedge some of the world's most striking estates. Admire the Victorian splendor as you enter Astors' Beechwood Mansion, a living history museum where you can observe the family and domestic staff in daily life! Afterwards try your hand at croquet on the back lawn like a true person of leisure*.
*In the event of inclement weather, take a ballroom dancing lesson indoors.

Panoramic Driving Tour of Newport
Discover the sights as you ride along Ocean Drive into the Old Town area on this privately guided excursion. Stop for photos along the way. When the tour is complete, you may stay in Old Town or return to the Hyatt Regency.

Lunch On Your Own in Newport
Your lunchtime options are sublime in this seaside paradise. If you need a suggestion, don't hesitate to ask your Adventure Guides. They are happy to help!

Afternoon as You Wish
Explore the other Victorian mansions such as Mrs. Vanderbilt's summer home or an architectural masterpiece called “The Breakers.” Shopping is practically a sport here in Newport, so indulge if you dare. Or charter an America's Cup boat and sail for a spell. This afternoon, Newport is yours to explore as you wish!

Junior Adventurer's Dinner at the Hyatt
While you revel in the good food of the hotel restaurant, Junior Adventurers dine on their own special buffet in another room.

Disney Movie Night
Junior Adventurers curl up with popcorn and soda for an exclusive evening of Disney entertainment. Adults are free to join the fun if they wish!

Day Five: New York City

Depart for The Big Apple
Start your morning with a bountiful buffet breakfast at the Hyatt before boarding the motor coach to depart Newport for New York City!

Lunch On Your Own in Connecticut
Trade tales of the trip thus far in a restaurant of your choice when the coach makes a stop in Connecticut for lunch. Be sure to tap your Adventure Guides for eating tips. They are happy to help you plan the perfect meal!

Arrive in New York City
Feel the thrill as the iconic skyline rises in the distance. The excitement only grows as you enter one of the world's greatest cities!

Marquis Tour at the Marriott
As your Adventure Guides check you into the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square, join a host from the hotel for an exclusive backstage tour of the hotel's amazing bake shop and kitchens.

Dinner at the ESPN Zone
Score a hearty meal after the day's journey at this sports hotspot in the heart of Times Square. After dinner, challenge one another to virtual boxing, bowling and other high-energy competitions using a complimentary video game card.

Day Six: New York City

Ferry to Ellis Island
After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, ride to Battery Park in the lower end of Manhattan to catch the ferry to Ellis Island. As the city retreats in the morning mists, the Statue of Liberty raises her torch of hope.

Ellis Island Tour
Walk the halls of this national monument known as the Gateway to America that welcomed nearly 20 million immigrants from 1892 to1924. On this privately guided tour, learn about the history of the island and how it became an integral part of American heritage.

Sightseeing by Coach
Sit back and see the sights on this motor coach tour of downtown. See the most important landmarks of New York City, including a tour of downtown.

Lunch at Katz's Deli
The oldest. The best. The undeniable sandwich capital of the Big Apple with a celebrity clientele. Open since 1888, Katz's Deli promises an experience to remember with a taste of New York in every bite.

Walking “Dessert Tour”
Follow your private guide through Manhattan's Lower East Side as you visit different dessert shops for a sweet treat at each. Begin with a toothsome tidbit at a Jewish bakery, then continue to a piece of heaven in Chinatown before finishing with a decadent dish in Little Italy. Hear fascinating immigration stories of the neighborhoods along the way.

On Your Own in the City
The motor coach takes you through Greenwich Village and then drops you off at your choice of Rockefeller Center or Times Square. From there, strike out to explore the sights on foot. As you merge into the hustle and bustle, feel the excitement of “The City That Never Sleeps.” When dinner arrives, you are in one of the culinary centers of the world! Day Seven: New York City

Biking Through Central Park
Pedal your way through this famous park past Strawberry Fields, Belvedere Castle, Shakespeare Garden and other sites brimming with great tales.

Lunch and Afternoon On Your Own
Choose from a dizzying array of lunch options, including the famed New York pizza. Then check out some of the acclaimed museums, skyscrapers, theaters and more. One thing's for sure: they don't call it the “Big” Apple for nothing!

Farewell Dinner
Dine at Carmine's as you make your farewells to your fellow adventurers. Located in the colorful theater district, Carmine's serves old world Italian flavors in huge portions.

Dessert at New Amsterdam Theatre
Come together at Disney's New Amsterdam Theatre, home to Mary Poppins on Broadway. On a private tour, discover the secrets of this historic theatre, once home of the Ziegfeld Follies. Then join your fellow adventurers for a final farewell at a private dessert reception. As you admire the gorgeous art nouveau décor, relive the greatest moments of your trip together during a special group surprise.

Mary Poppins Broadway Show
Get ready for a Broadway musical that's "practically perfect in every way" at the New Amsterdam Theatre! Catch every "Supercalifragilistic" tune and dance move as you watch the super hit musical Mary Poppins from choice seats. Chim chim cheroo!

Day Eight: New York City

Breakfast at the Marriott Marquis
Say farewell to your newfound friends and enjoy one last meal in New York City.
