Day One: Beijing
Arrive in Beijing
Upon exiting customs, you will be met by an Adventures by Disney representative who will escort you to your transfer vehicle. Relax as the driver assists with your luggage and escorts you to the Peninsula Palace Beijing.

Take the day to relax and settle into this elegant hotel, conveniently located near the Forbidden City and other historic landmarks.
Welcome Reception
Meet the other families that are sharing the adventure. You will begin with a traditional long-spout, tea-pouring ceremony, followed by a dinner of classical Chinese dishes. After dinner, you may choose to dress up in Chinese Imperial costumes and have your photograph taken.

Day Two: Beijing
Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City
Join a privately guided, family-focused tour of Tiananmen Square and discover Beijing's fascinating history. Afterwards, walk through the imposing Forbidden City— the palace complex where China's emperors ruled the Middle Kingdom for nearly 500 years.
Lunch at Ke Jia Cai
Enjoy a family style lunch as you enjoy Hakka cuisine.
Discover Beijing
After lunch, you may relax or take the opportunity to explore the sights of Beijing on your own. Visit quaint teahouses and fascinating temples, or look for bargains at one of the many markets. Ask your Adventure Guide for suggestions.
Welcome Dinner
Before dinner, adults and Junior Adventurers create their own souvenirs with the help of a master kite maker, a master calligrapher and a master opera mask painter. After a dinner of Western dishes, you are treated to a short private performance of Beijing opera.

Day Three: Beijing
Stroll on the Great Wall
Ride a cable car up to the Great Wall at Mutianyu, one of the New Wonders of the World. Walk along the top of this incredible structure and admire the fabulous view!
The Schoolhouse in Mutianyu
Enjoy a western-style lunch at this converted village schoolhouse in the shadow of the Great Wall. Afterwards, a local chef demonstrates how to create perfect noodles, and an artisan creates whimsical glass figurines.
An Evening On Your Own in Beijing
Savor the flavors of Beijing during your final evening on your own in this vibrant city. You have a choice of wonderful restaurants and night markets. Or attend a performance of a colorful Beijing opera or exciting acrobat show. Your Adventure Guides can help find the perfect activity for you and your family.

Day Four: Chengdu
Hutong Pedicab Tour*
Travel by pedicab through the narrow streets of Beijing's ancient Hutong neighborhoods. At stops along the way, participate in demonstrations of traditional crafts like knot-tying and decorative paper-cutting, as well as a remarkable acrobatic display by a yo-yo master.
Lunch at the Noble House Restaurant
Enjoy lunch in the hutong at a relaxed lakeside setting in the city.
Fly to Chengdu
After lunch you fly to Chengdu (flight time 2:40 hours), the capital of the Sichuan province in western China. This 2400-year-old city is famous for its brocade fabrics and as a center for breeding Giant Pandas.
Dinner at Ba Guo Bu Yi
Before settling in at the Shangri La Chengdu Hotel, enjoy dinner at at Ba Guo Bu Yi known for its exquisite Sichuan cuisine.

Day Five: Chengdu
Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding
Observe a variety of delightful pandas in an unforgettable visit to China's premier institution devoted to the preservation of these rare animals. Your privately guided visit includes a presentation by a biologist and a peek at the natural habitats that have been recreated for the pandas.
Lunch at Cafe Zi at Shangri La Hotel
Lunch at Cafe Zi at Shangri La Hotel, followed by a demonstration of classic Chinese stick-fighting. Adventurous Mulan fans are welcome to participate and learn a few handy moves.
Sichuan Face-Changing Opera
After an early dinner at the hotel, enjoy an evening of fun at the Sichuan Face-Changing Opera. This classic Chinese art form provides a variety of entertainment, including amusing acrobatic stunts, musicians, puppets and culminating with the amazing "face-changing" act.

Day Six: Shanghai
Fly to Shanghai
Today you travel (2-hour flight) to cosmopolitan Shanghai. Lunch will be served in-flight.
Welcome to Shanghai
Explore the city from the modern Peninsula Shanghai, fronting the historic Bund riverfront district. Shanghai's spectacular skyline is said to rival New York's and its international influences will surprise and delight you.
Children's Palace
During your orientation tour of Shanghai, enjoy a stop at the Children's Palace for a charming welcome song and dance by local schoolchildren.
Dinner "M" on the Bund
Dine at "M" on the Bund, one of Shanghai's premier restaurants. The Bund faces the city's vibrant waterfront district. Feast on European cuisine with an Asian flair, while taking in the breathtaking view from the terrace.

Day Seven: Shanghai
Fuxin Park Activities
Join the locals at Fuxin Park — designed by French émigrés to remind them of their beloved Parisian Parks — for demonstrations of fan dancing and martial arts.
Tour of Old Shanghai and Yu Gardens
Stroll the narrow streets of Old Shanghai, a colorful district known for its preserved classic architecture and lively open-air markets. Yu Gardens is the perfect place to unwind. This 300-year-old oasis offers a calm retreat in the heart of one of the world's busiest cities.
Lunch On Your Own
Shanghai offers an enormous variety of international cuisine in addition to the many delicious venues serving local fare. Ask your Adventure Guides for tips on where to have a memorable lunch.
Afternoon On Your Own in Shanghai
After lunch on the 54th floor of the famous Jin Mao Tower — one of the world's tallest buildings — the afternoon is yours to enjoy the hotel's amenities or explore Shanghai's many attractions and fabulous restaurants on your own. Ask your Adventure Guide for suggestions.
Dinner at Din Tai Fung in Xiantandi
Meet your fellow adventurers at Shanghai's Din Tai Fung restaurant for a meal of classic Shanghai dumplings and assorted dishes artfully prepared and served. After dinner, be amazed by the ERA Show a modern version of the classic Chinese acrobatic performance with a live rock band, dramatic lighting, and a breathtaking array of talented performers. The grand finale features eight motorcycles!

Day Eight: Shanghai
Museum or Morning Rest
It's your choice. Relax and take a break from organized activities and explore the city on your own. Or as an optional visit, hop on the coach for a complimentary ride to one of Shanghai's two museums. The Shanghai Museum* houses China's finest collection of art and relics.
Fly to Hong Kong
After the morning's activities, transfer to the Shanghai Airport via the MagLev Train (7-minute ride) and take a 2 1/2 hour flight to Hong Kong.
Check in to the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Hotel
Welcome to Hong Kong! Unwind in the hotel lobby as your Adventure Guides check you into the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort!

Day Nine: Hong Kong
Breakfast and Beyond
Start your day with some of your favorite Disney Characters in the Enchanted Garden Restaurant in the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. Afterwards, you can stay at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort to spend more time at the Park* or to enjoy the hotel's many amenities, including a spa*, pool and tennis courts on your own. You can even join your Adventure Guides for a privately guided tour of fascinating Hong Kong.
Lunch and Tour of Hong Kong
Hong Kong is famous for its skyscrapers, expansive harbor, stunning views and world-class shopping. Take the morning to shop and enjoy lunch at the Peak Lookout Restaurant on Victoria Peak. In the afternoon, enjoy the stunning panoramic views from the Observation Center atop Victoria Peak, descend the hill on the historic Peak Tram (a funicular railway), and ride the classic ferry service across the famous harbor to Kowloon.
Dinner On Your Own
A city unlike any other, Hong Kong offers a dizzying variety of international cuisines and specialties from both Asia and the Pacific Rim. Feel free to ask your Adventure Guides to suggest a restaurant for a family meal you will never forget!

Day Ten: Hong Kong
A Day at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
Play all day at the Park! Your VIP experience includes built-in Disney's FASTPASS® service, special entry passes for stage shows, and reserved viewing for the afternoon parade.
Optional Transfer to Kowloon
If you prefer, instead of visiting the Park, transfer to colorful Kowloon for exploring and shopping on your own. Marvel at the "walled" city's sights and sounds as you walk down the fascinating streets. It's like being in a science fiction movie!
Farewell Dinner
Join other Adventurers for a delicious dinner in the Crystal Lotus, the hotel's elegant and evocative restaurant, with a menu that celebrates the Four Beauties of China and caps your unforgettable trip to this amazing country.

Day Eleven: Hong Kong
Breakfast at the Hotel
Say farewell to China and your newfound friends over a final breakfast in the Enchanted Garden Restaurant.
